Creating Awareness for Motor Neurone Disease

MotorOn 2012 a huge success!

MotorOn is a yearly event to raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research.  Now in its 7th year, MotorOn is the chief fundraising event for zo-ee, a small group of young, professional volunteers who have so far raised over $350,000 for this cause.

This year, MotorOn 2012 was held at the stunning ‘3 Station Pier’ in Port Melbourne, and along with entertainment from Melbourne’s own matriarch of soul Angela Librandi and the always funky DJ Baz Emera, guest participated in Silent and Loud auction items and heard about the latest development into research from Dr Julie Atkins.  The night was a tremendous success with zo-ee’s President Gina Gonis announcing that over $50,000 has been raised from our most successful event ever.

zo-ee would like to thank its principal sponsors PKF – Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors and Grays Online who are the backbone of MotorOn’s success, and all other sponsors and partners who continue to deliver funds, time and resources into this important cause.
