Creating Awareness for Motor Neurone Disease

MotorOn 2014 – A stunning success!

MotorOn is a yearly event to raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research.  Now in its 9th year, MotorOn is the chief fundraising event for zo-ee, a small group of young, professional volunteers who have so far raised $500,000 for this cause.

This year, MotorOn 2014 was held at the gorgeously renewed ’The Park’ on Albert Park Lake, and along with fabulous entertainment provided by saxophonist Jarrad Lees, DJs Denn Francisco, Rob Sama & Nick M and singers Joshua & Cisco Tavares, guests participated in silent and loud auctions and heard from zo-ee’s MND Hero Nick Sarandis and MND Victoria’s CEO Rodney Harris.  The night was a tremendous success with zo-ee’s President Gina Gonis announcing that $60,000 has been raised from the most successful MotorOn event ever.

zo-ee would like to thank its principal sponsors BDO, one of the largest associations of independently owned audit, tax and advisory practices and Grays Online, Australia’s online retail and auction company.  zo-ee would also like to thank all other sponsors, partners and donors who continue to deliver funds, time and resources into this important cause.
