Creating Awareness for Motor Neurone Disease

zo-ee raises $4,600 at tin shake!

On Saturday 22nd September between 10:00 – 16:00, zo-ee committee members and volunteers hit the street to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease – literally!

Tin-shakers worked in 3-hour shifts to blanket the Johnson Street and Hoddle Street intersection to collect coins (and quite a few notes) from friendly motorists.

It’s not the easiest thing to ask of volunteers as the job can be cold, wet and tiring but ultimately it’s a great opportunity to meet people, get some exercise and participate in a meaningful cause.  We’d like to thank everyone who participated in the day and every generous motorist to helped zo-ee deliver its most successful tin-shake ever!
