Creating Awareness for Motor Neurone Disease

zo-ee research grant for 2014 awarded

zo-ee is proud to announce that the 2014 ‘zo-ee MND research grant’ has been awarded to Dr Bradley Turner from the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, Victoria.

Dr Turner will be using the grant in his research studying the therapeutic targeting of autophagy in MND.

Each year, the Motor Neurone Disease Research Institute of Australia awards a ‘zo-ee research grant’ to the best applications which have the greatest chance of providing benefit for people with MND, and in 2014, a total of $2.17 million has been awarded to 22 grants – a brilliant outcome for the MND research community!
